Wales were lucky at Euro 2016 – Austria coach Koller

Austria coach Marcel Koller says Wales were lucky on their run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.

Chris Coleman s men reached the last four in France before missing out on a place in the final thanks to a 2-0 defeat to eventual champions Portugal in Lyon.

But Koller, whose side were eliminated at the pool stage without registering a win and face Wales in a World Cup qualifier on Thursday, says there was an element of fortune to the nation s remarkable run in their first major tournament since 1958.

Discussing his preparations for this week s match, he said:  We will not rearrange everything. Sometimes you need to be lucky as well. That is what we could see at Euro 2016 Wales were lucky sometimes.

And Koller revealed Gareth Bale would be subject to special…

´Extraordinary guy´ Wenger should have left after 2017 FA Cup final triumph – Arsenal great Wilson

Arsene Wenger is an extraordinary guy who still has Arsenal in his bones but he should have left after winning a seventh FA Cup, says Bob Wilson.

Monday marks the two-year anniversary of Wenger announcing he would be departing the Gunners at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Wenger masterminded one of the greatest periods in Arsenal s history during his near 22-year stay in north London, winning three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups – including two doubles.

The Frenchman also oversaw Arsenal s Invincibles , who incredibly went unbeaten during the 2003-04 campaign.

However, factions of supporters turned against him towards the later years of his tenure and there was an ever-growing Wenger Out brigade at the Emirates Stadium.

Broncos vs Steelers Week 5 Picks and Predictions: Defenses Dominate In Heinz Field

The Steelers welcome the Broncos to Heinz Field with both teams having unexpectedly contrasting records. Pittsburgh has struggled so far this season with Ben Roethlisberger a shadow of his former self and enter Week 5 with a 1-3 record, whereas the Broncos are 3-1 and are in the thick of a very competitive AFC West.

NFL betting lines have this as a pick’em and it really feels like a must-win for both teams — the Steelers need to start climb from the basement of the AFC North and the Broncos need to keep winning in a division that features the Chargers, Raiders, and Chiefs.

Here are our best free NFL picks and predictions for Broncos vs. Steelers on Sunday, October 10.

Carolina Panthers Odds, Predictions, and Betting Preview 2022: Baker's Entrance Solidifies Carolina's Ceiling

The Carolina Panthers could have the pieces to make a move in the NFC South. That’s a pretty loaded “could”, though.

A deep young defense is the backbone of this team, but questionable coaching, a star running back made of tissue paper, and the curious quarterback case of Baker Mayfield has divided bettors on the Panthers’ potential. At least Carolina’s NFL odds are projecting progress from its five wins in 2021.

Should football bettors keep pounding the point spreads considering this team was the worst bet in the NFC at 5-12 ATS last year? We find out in our Carolina Panthers 2022 betting preview.

Dallas Goedert Super Bowl 57 Picks: Back Philly's Safety Valve in Glendale

The Philadelphia Eagles will look to win their second Super Bowl and their fifth overall NFL championship in franchise history when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Arizona tonight.

The Eagles’ offense is filled with star power, starting with dynamic dual-threat quarterback Jalen Hurts. That means that some key contributors on the offense can often get overlooked in Super Bowl odds, including tight end Dallas Goedert.

Read on to see my favorite Super Bowl player prop for this evening’s game, and be sure to check out our extensive Super Bowl picks before you bet on the big game!

Jets vs Giants Odds, Picks, and Predictions Week 8: Hall Hits the Trenches Against G-Men

The Battle of the Big Apple is four years in the making with the New York Jets and New York Giants fighting over MetLife Stadium bragging rights in the Week 8 odds.

Both teams enter this Sunday non-conference clash off a win. The Giants snapped a four-game skid by dumping Washington at home last weekend while the Jets have had two weeks to let their Week 6 upset win over Philadelphia sink in… enjoying a bye in Week 7.

The NFL odds peg the Jets as 3-point “road” favorites in their own stadium as the G-Men wait on the status of starting QB Daniel Jones, who missed Week 7 and hasn’t been cleared of a neck injury suffered two weeks ago.

I break down the spread and Over/Under total for this New York City showdown and give my best NFL pick…

Divisional Round NFL Trend Report: Can Baker's Bucs Cook Up a Road Win?

Let’s be honest — the Super Wild Card Weekend games kind of sucked thanks to blowouts in five of the six games, but like I often say, “this is why we bet.”

Monday’s Steelers vs. Bills game was anything but entertaining, but I clung to my TV until the final whistle to see if the Steelers could cover the 10-point spread. They of course did not, which resulted in the Bills bringing an end to their 0-8 ATS skid as a double-digit favorite.

So that trend was a bust last week, as was the Over in Detroit after the offenses fell asleep in the second half. But the other four NFL betting trends in last week’s article came through, so hopefully we can pick up in the Divisional Round odds where we left off in the Wild Card Round.
